The Stone
Malachite has been mined since at least 4000 BCE, ground into pigment by Egyptian artists and carved into protective amulets throughout the ancient world. Its distinctive concentric banding forms as copper-rich water deposits mineral in layers over thousands of years. Known as the stone of transformation and protection, it's believed to absorb negative energy and guard the wearer against emotional and environmental toxins. A rare find strung this way.
